Ali's Transformation Journey with Apex Fitness
Ali joined Apex Fitness just over 12 weeks ago — and what a journey it's been. In that time, he's gained over 7kg of lean muscle, but it hasn’t all been smooth sailing.
In his early 20s, Ali’s weight peaked at over 120kg, largely due to a lack of exercise and a poor diet. His turning point came when he met the love of his life, Tania. Over the following years, he dropped an incredible 40kg — but at a cost.
Ali developed a fear of food. He viewed it as the enemy, terrified of gaining the weight back. By the time we met, he was surviving on just 1,000–1,500 calories a day — far below what his body needed, especially to build muscle and thrive.
